Well, fancy that! Backchat took a call last week from his fellow wordsmith Hugh Thompson, feature writer and sometime PR man within the claims industry, known to all and sundry as the Scribbler.
But it wasn't a story Thompson was calling about. It was the shock of seeing his son on the front cover of the Insurance Times new-look supplement IT2. Yes, the young lad in focus in the centre of the picture is Thompson Junior.
Apparently, he had done one modelling shoot for a few hundred quid and had not seen the pictures since. The pair were both gobsmacked to see the picture on the snazzily redesigned Insurance Times supplement.
With no disrespect to the Scribbler, Backchat has not met Mrs Thompson, but he can confirm that the boy must have got his good looks from his mother's side of the family.
