To clarify Jack Brownhill's position on key facts documents (Letters, 21 July), Brownhill said: "Key facts documents are designed to provide a brief synopsis of the more important elements of the policy and I think that this has inadvertently created a situation in which insurers are concerned that the key facts document will hold more sway in any subsequent dispute than the full policy document itself."
