Royal & SunAlliance has teamed up with the vehicle management company Lease Plan to launch a new range of motor services for policyholders.

This will involve financing, procuring and disposing of vehicles, as well as offering a complete maintenance and service package.

These services will be available to customers via the internet and the telephone, as well as through RSA's customer service centre in Bristol.

RSA car owner proposition manager John Robertson said the move was part of the insurer's strategy to move its direct business away from just insurance products to providing total solutions to meet customer needs.
