As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, motor insurer Highway has tracked down its most loyal policyholder and as a reward paid his motor insurance premium for the next 12 months.
Mr Saddington of Wickford, Essex, has been insured by Highway since 1964. In that time he has only had five cars, kept a clean driver's licence and made just one claim, 21 years ago.
Over 34 years, his only claim was in 1979 when someone crashed into the side of his car and drove off without leaving their details.
