Marsh has appointed Andrew Grant as a senior risk consultant within the property risks team of its risk consulting practice.
Grant will be based in Marsh's Birmingham office. His role will involve conducting property surveys relating to fire, business interruption, and liability risks at client premises worldwide.
Grant was previously at Zurich Risk Services, where he was a risk analyst.
George Blawat, leader of the property risks team at Marsh said: "His expertise, combined with our existing capabilities and strong track record, will be key to expanding Marsh's involvement in the Property Risks sector around the UK."
