Aon has announced the appointment of David Mead as its new group operations director.
Mead will be repsonsible for maintaining service quality and product delivery.
Chairman Dennis Mahoney said: "David's appointment underlines our ambition to maintain and build on our existing success.
"In recent years Aon has acquired a broad portfolio of businesses which provide our clients with a tremendous range of products and services. David's remit will be to accelerate the development of our service proposition for our customers."
Mead was previously at HSBC Group, where he was chief operating officer for First Direct.
Mead said: "I am delighted to join Aon at a dynamic stage in the company's growth. I am looking forward to building on the company's existing reputation."
