Intermediary-only insurer MMA Insurance has appointed a household and travel underwriting manager.
MMA said Martin Scarrett, previously business change manager for the company, will now be responsible for managing and developing the household account.
Household is an area of key growth for the company – in 2005 the account's income increased by 25%.
MMA said it has similar ambitions for 2006.
