Moorhouse, who recently acquired Shakespeare Underwriting, has developed products with Misys as part of plans to extend its broker-to-broker distribution, particularly for non-standard motor.

Lyndon Wood, CEO, Moorhouse, said: “Our non-standard motor product catering for young drivers with claims and convictions has generated a great deal of interest and we expect to see the same for other lines as broker awareness increases. Releasing the products via Full Cycle EDI will improve trading efficiency.”

Michele Munn, head of insurance services, Misys Financial Systems, said: “Over the last 12 months we have seen an increasing number of major players like Moorhouse developing Full cycle EDI products on the Misys system for distribution via our broker base.”
