Software company CSC plans to offer the broker and intermediary market further products and services following the acquistion of source code rights to Applied Systems' Vision product.
Rebranded Visual Software for the UK market, the software is aimed at larger general insurance intermediares and London Market brokers.
A specific London Market version of Visual Office is planned for launch in the autumn.
“By acquiring the source code rights we are now able to work on the Visual Office software ourselves rather than having to put in requests for changes and enhancements to Applied Systems,” said CSC's director, general insurance marketing, Tony Barker.
