The St. Paul at Lloyd's, the Lloyd's of London operation of The St. Paul Companies has named David Reed as its new chief executive officer.

Reed, 43, will succeed Duncan Wilkinson, who will be leaving The St. Paul effective 28 February 2002.

Reed joined The St. Paul at Lloyd's in 2000. He was managing director of QBE's Lloyd's underwriting agency from 1998 to 2000.

From 1993 to 1998 he was managing director of Ashley Palmer, during which time he was instrumental in implementing the sale of the business to USF&G, and subsequently its merger into The St. Paul at Lloyd's.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
