Richard Tyler has been appointed head of ROOM Solutions' financial business unit.
ROOM provides specialist IT solutions to the insurance industry.
Tyler has previously worked at Chubb as accounting manager and, most recently, ACE European Group as strategic financial projects manager.
Tyler said: “Over the last few years ROOM has transformed itself from an IT software supplier to a provider of sophisticated solutions and consultancy skills for the global insurance market. With a suite of new financial solutions available, I'm looking forward to broadening ROOM's customer base and developing some genuinely innovative thinking for the insurance industry.”
ROOM's commercial director, Ameet Dave, said: “Richard's appointment builds on the major investment ROOM has already made in the financial team. He has extensive knowledge in developing processes for dealing effectively with the increasingly demanding statutory and operational requirements in our sector.”
