’Our underwriting resolve and mission to protect the unprotected continue to prove valuable at a time when cyber risk is evolving quickly,’ says managing director
Active insurance provider Coalition has appointed two new regional hires to support brokers in the UK.
James Holder takes on the position of senior business development manager in the south west of England and will help brokers develop their cyber book.
Meanwhile, Sam Mullett joins as production underwriter and will support brokers placing cyber business in the Midlands.
Tom Draper, Coalition’s UK managing director, said: “Coalition continues to hold its own in the face of the ongoing soft market conditions.
“Our underwriting resolve and mission to protect the unprotected continue to prove valuable at a time when cyber risk is evolving quickly and as more organisations than ever are understanding how a cyber incident has the potential to wreak havoc on their finances and ability to operate.”
Experience
Mullett joins from Aviva, where as a cyber underwriter, he helped brokers to better understand cyber risks facing their clients.

“I look forward to supporting regional brokers and their clients to better understand and manage cyber risk.”

He said: “I am thrilled to join such an innovative, tech-driven company and help the team to empower brokers, elevate cyber confidence and help south west businesses thrive.”
