Aventum acquires family-owned marine and logistics MGA

Aventum has acquired specialist marine and logistics MGA Post and Co.

Family-owned since its founding in 1918, Post and Co offers a range of marine-based insurance lines, including P&I, charterers and shipowners’ liability, war risk, cargo and logistics-related covers.

Backed by Lloyd’s and specialist company market capacity, the MGA also distributes through a network of approximately 250 brokers across Europe and Asia.

Aventum said the firm strengthens its marine proposition in North America, the UK and Asia.

No changes

Post and Co will operate under the Aventum as part of Rokstone. The acquisition is growth focused, with no changes to Post and Co’s management or organisation.
