Axa Partners UK and Ireland has partnered with Eurotunnel Le Shuttle.
The insurer has been appointed to underwrite travel insurance policies that are purchased by customers alongside their Eurotunnel booking.
Axa Partners will also handle all associated travel insurance claims, including providing customers with medical assistance - if needed - while abroad.
Long-term, both brands will work together closely with a view to growing Eurotunnel’s existing travel proposition. Axa Partners’ role in the partnership will be to act as a driving force to help enhance the insurance products already offered by Eurotunnel.
The insurer also hopes to identify other areas that the two businesses can collaborate on, to provide additional benefits to customers in the future.
