Brokerbility Network snaps up new member

A-One Insurance Group has joined independent broker network Brokerbility as it looks to drive business growth and support people development, according to a statement released today (1 June 2023).

Based in south west Hampshire, A-One is a personal and commercial broker that was established in 1993 by managing director Ian Penfold.

Ryan Jupp, director at A-One, said Brokerbility was a “perfect fit” for the business as it continues on its growth plans while remaining independent.

“Being a Brokerbility member strengthens our access and influence with insurer partners along with supporting us with a range of services and training, which will enable the A-One team to flourish,” he added.

“Crucially, we are now part of a progressive and forward thinking network that operates as a collaborative community of independent brokers who encourage each other to grow.”

‘Great addition’

This comes after Brokerbility set out a new member framework in April 2023, which was designed to encourage collective working and knowledge sharing across the membership.

Brokerbility said every member was supported by a range of added value services, including compliance support and an enhanced training programme through its academy.

John Dunn, managing director of Brokerbility, said A-One was a “great addition to our community network”.

He added that the network was looking to expand its membership.

“We are keen to speak to brokers of different sizes who have strong growth ambitions and commitment to staff development, who would truly benefit and enjoy being part of the Brokerbility community,” Dunn said.
