Compare Insurance has acquired the book of clients from Insure My Business.

Insure My Business provides a range of insurance products, such as cover for public liability, those self-employed and tradespeople.
Compare Insurance said the deal will bring in over 3,000 new clients and eight new team members.

Mark Thomas, chief executive at Compare Insurance, announced the deal on LinkedIn yesterday (5 February 2026).

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
