’This partnership reaffirms Endsleigh’s position within the leisure trust and sports charity sector,’ says associate director

Endsleigh Insurance has teamed up with Ukactive – the trade body for the physical activity industry – to strengthen its presence in the health and fitness sector, a statement released yesterday (12 September 2023) said.

The deal will see the Howden-owned broker become part of Ukactive’s strategic partners group and offer its members access to bespoke solutions that address their requirements.

This includes protection for individual leisure centres or multiple locations, public liability insurance for high-risk facilities, expert advice and competitive pricing, risk management evaluation and assistance.

The move will also see Endsleigh provide Ukactive members with access to expert advice, policy reviews and account management services.

”We are thrilled to join forces with ukactive and contribute to their mission of fostering more active lifestyles across the UK,” said Phil Snow, associate director for the not-for-profit division of Endsleigh.

“Our partnership reiterates our support for leisure trusts and sports organisations, as we empower them with the right guidance and support to manage risks effectively and navigate the complexities of the industry.”

Support

As part of its role as a trade body, Ukactive looks to promote physical activity and improve peoples’ health across the nation.

Endsleigh said the support it will provide would help Ukactive continue to serve its communities.

”This partnership reaffirms Endsleigh’s position within the leisure trust and sports charity sector,” Snow added.

”We’re proud to showcase our unique proposition and capabilities and work together with Ukactive to set a new standard of support for the physical activity sector.”

Marianne Boyle, director of membership and sector development at Ukactive, said: “Endsleigh Insurance have been providing an essential service to the fitness and leisure sector for many years.

”We are delighted to formally partner with them to continue this and to be able to offer our members bespoke solutions that are more suited to their individual needs.”
