The opportunity for embedded insurance to improve access to mandatory products is significant, says chief executive
Broker Endsleigh Insurance has partnered with embedded finance platform Certua with the aim of offering new embedded insurance products to Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England instructors.
As part of the move, Endsleigh’s professional indemnity (PI) and public liability insurance products have been customised and made available on Certua’s platform.
MHFA England members will now be able to access insurance products directly via the platform and benefit from support on regulation.
Certua will handle product administration, risk assessment and user experience.
Endsleigh Insurance associate director Asif Khan said: “MHFA England continues to be at the forefront of delivering mental health skills and awareness training and their instructor members are the beating heart that facilitate this.

‘Significant’ opportunity
Certua chief executive Tom Williams added: “The opportunity for embedded insurance to improve access to products, which are mandatory for performing professional duties, is significant.

MHFA’s network consists of over 3,000 instructor members, which have trained 1 in 50 adults in England in mental health first aid.
Explaining the relevance of this statistic, MHFA chief executive Simon Blake said: “Their dedication means that we remain the country’s leading provider of MHFA.
“Therefore it is vital that we provide them with the necessary tools to carry out their work diligently and safely.
“I believe this new platform does just that and I am delighted that we are able to offer our instructor members this new service.”
