London-based Insurance Advisory Partners (IAP) has appointed Joe Plumeri to the newly created role of chairman.
Plumeri will take up the role on 1 September 2025 and become an investor in the company as part of the move.

Experience
Plumeri has held various senior roles in his career, including being the chairman and chief executive at Willis Group Holdings.

He has also served as chief executive at Citibank, North America, and vice chairman of Travelers during his career.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
