Nick Line has officially joined CFC as its chief underwriting officer.

The move was first announced in June 2025. He joins from Markel International, where he served as chief underwriting officer.
In his new role, Line will lead underwriting activities across CFC.

Experience
During his Markel tenure, Line supported growth in the business through new products, new territories and numerous acquisitions.

”His expertise in building high-performing, international teams will be instrumental as CFC continues to deliver on its ambitious growth strategy,” CFC said.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
