Destination Insurance has been created to be an ongoing, editorially driven campaign that seeks to support the UK general insurance and London markets in addressing talent challenges and helping the industry to become a properly earmarked destination for fulfilling careers.

As part of the campaign, a talent-centric conference in London went ahead in January 2026, which included a variety of sessions that delegates took part in.

This included discussions about insurance’s social value to Gen Z, keeping talent in the industry, creating a shared talent attraction strategy and more.

Following the success of the first event, it will return for a second time on 28 January 2027 at The Minster Building in London.

The event will look beyond traditional recruitment routes, spotlighting new pathways into the sector and exploring how insurance can better engage career changers, veterans, public service professionals, apprentices and the next generation of industry leaders.

Across a packed programme of keynote sessions, panels, roundtables and interactive discussions, delegates will hear fresh perspectives on the changing world of work – including AI, skills gaps, workplace expectations, first-time management, diversity, retention and data-led talent strategy.
