Qlaims has signed a multi-year contract that will see its insurance cover included in Prestige Underwriting’s Coverall household policy.

Qlaims’ insurance cover provides clients, who experience a loss, their own claims specialist to prepare and manage their property claims.

In a statement released yesterday (25 March 2023), the insurtech said Prestige Underwriting had selected to support customer claims above £25,000.

Qlaims said its insurance cover was ”most beneficial” on larger claims. 

Liz Latter, chief executive of Qlaims, said: “The goal of Qlaims is to manage claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring the correct outcome for clients. 

”Larger claims are often complex and involve a lot of people. 

”We restore balance in the claim process and support the client through what can be a difficult and stressful time”.

Prestige Underwriting specialises in providing non-standard home and motor insurance products.

Its Coverall product is distributed by a network of over 500 brokers and has more than 30,000 clients.

“The inclusion of Qlaims in its proposition reinforces its customer approach and the requirements of Consumer Duty sees Qlaims supporting good outcomes for customers whilst managing insurer claims costs,” a statement said.
