QuestGates acquires power and construction claims specialist

Loss adjusting and claims management group QuestGates has completed the purchase of power and construction claims firm Richard Hartley Partnership (RHP).

RHP – which specialises in providing adjusting services for complex losses – was founded in 1999 in Harrogate by current executive chairman, Richard Hartley.

RHP will maintain its existing branding as it begins to operate under the QuestGates group umbrella.

The purchase is the third of the year for QuestGates – following its acquisitions of Miles Fanning Legal and Howell Wild – and is now the 23^rd such purchase since the firm’s inception in 2003.

According to Glen Donaldson, chief commercial officer at QuestGates, RHP’s “expertise, services and client base align closely with our own, significantly enhancing the range of claims solutions we can offer”.
