Bob Newton has been appointed as non-executive director at Fortis.
Newton has 35 years' experience in the industry and has previously worked at General Accident, CGU, Aviva and NFU Mutual.
Fortis chief executive Barry Smith said: “We are delighted Bob has chosen to join the organisation. At Fortis we focus on providing excellent customer service. We believe with Bob's extensive knowledge and in-depth experience, we can push the boundaries even further by continuing to strengthen our proposition and delivery to customers in the broker and intermediate community.”
