Norwich Union (NU) is launching 'Home Doctor', a service to provide advice and information to homeowners about the risks they face.
NU says it has developed the service, which will be available to 'Your House' and 'Home Plus' customers, to advise people on risks they face and how they can minimise them.
Household market development manager Jill Willis commented on the new approach: "Insurance protection is still a key part of what we are offering, but we want customers to view us as more than just an insurer - as a source of information and guidance, and a provider of solutions for their home."
