Odyssey Re expects to see a pre-tax loss of $80m (£53.3m) as a result of the terrorist attacks on the US.
The after-tax loss to the American reinsurer is expected to be $55m (£36.6m). The company said in a statement that the loss would “not have a material impact on Odysses Re's financial strength or position”.
