PI Direct Group has appointed Andrew Wallas as non-executive chairman of the PI Direct Group's holding company, Martello Underwriting, with effect from 1 September.
Wallas recently retired from Glencairn, which he founded in 1993 and is a highly spected figure in the London
professional indemnity market.
The PI Direct Group's chief executive, Michael Wood, said: "We have reached a stage, after eight years, where we thought it best to split the chief executive and chairman
roles. We are delighted that Andrew is joining us, as his profile and experience in the PI market is second to none."
