The Policyholders' Protection Board (PPB) has paid out almost £10,000 to Independent Insurance policyholders in the past week.
The PPB is paying “hardship” cases first, particularly those involving urgent home repairs and employer's liability. It has paid out more than £2.3m in total so far.
