Primary General will unveil a series of new products and look to open new branches in bid to hit its 20% growth target by the end of next year.

The news follows the strengthening of the company’s regional presence with the appointment of three regional managing directors.

Over the next six months the company will roll out a range of products, including tradesman, contractors all risks, and health and safety. This follows the recent launch of motor trade, fleet and property products.

The company also said it would consider opening further branches.

A spokesman said: “Future branch growth will be derivative of what brokers are doing.

“We target brokers that are not being serviced. As they grow, brokers might require us to open an office to assist.”

But he added: “We are always looking to add more branches, but it being the height of a soft market, we have no immediate plans to expand.”

The regional managers will head up operations in the Midlands and South West, the North West and the North East, allowing the company to provide consistency of business focus around five fully automated regional hubs.

Primary General currently has seven branches, and employs 120 staff.
