Protectagroup, the Welsh broker, is joining forces with Cardiff ITEC (Independent Training and Education Centre) to offer nationally accredited training programmes to its customers.
Linda Haggett, human resources director of Protectagroup, said: "Training and learning is high on the agenda in Wales and rightly so, with almost one third of the workforce in Wales now working for employers who have achieved, or are working towards, recognition under the Investment in People programme.
"We hope to double the number of people employed by Cardiff ITEC to 60 over the next twelve months. All in all, by working with Cardiff ITEC, coupled with other developments that are ongoing, we aim to achieve our goal of 100% growth by 2006."
