Royal & SunAlliance has appointed Gordon Henderson as strategy & marketing director.
He will head up the newly created Strategy & Marketing function, with a remit to increase R&SA's focus on profitable growth and market opportunities.
Henderson joins R&SA from Cendant Corporation - a provider of travel and real estate services where he was UK managing director.
R&SA UK chief executive, Bridget McIntyre, said: "I believe that his mix of strategy and marketing skills, in a variety of sectors, will work well in the financial services environment, and that he will bring with him a fresh perspective on a traditional industry. I welcome him to the team."
