Allan Clare has left NFU Mutual to join RBS Insurance as head of counter fraud solutions.
Clare held the position of counter fraud controller at NFU Mutual since 2004 and brings to RBS his 13 years of counter fraud experience.
Chris McKee, RBS director of technical services, commented: "I am delighted that Allan is joining the team. His specialist knowledge of the counter fraud industry will be a great benefit to the business and I look forward to working closely with him to continue our work on detecting and combating fraud."
Clare is a member of the ABI's Anti Fraud Committee and the Insurance Fraud Adjusters Group.
Clare's appointment is effective from 22 January 2007.
