Lord Rix has stepped down as chairman of Charity Insurance Brokers MCIS to become honorary president of the organisation. Reg Brown will succeed Rix as chairman.
Rix said the advent of FSA regulation prompted his decision to step aside as chairman to make way for a replacement with more expertise in this area.
Brown joins MCIS, having recently spent a year as CII president.
