The joint chief executive of Premium Credit, Colin Ringrose, is to leave the company on 30 June 2002.

Ringrose, 56, was a founder member of the finance provider, which was created through a leveraged buyout from HSBC four years ago.

He worked first to develop the company's IT and operations infrastructure before focusing on its personal lines and schemes division.

The current managing director of the personal lines and schemes division, Sharon Beckett, will continue in that role, reporting to company chairman Graham Puttergill.

Chief operating officer Ken Garrod, who joined the company in April 2001, will take over Ringrose's IT and finance responsibilities.
