Software house Sirius Group is splitting its UK business into five units, each headed up by its own managing director.

The solutions unit will be headed by the former operations director, Paul Jennings.

The unit will continue to sell, develop and deploy tailored solutions for larger customers.

The systems unit will be responsible for selling software and services to brokers and IFAs.

It will be headed up by Kevin Child. ike Dodd becomes managing director of the insurance distribution unit, which includes the Masterplan and Mediquote operations, as well as quotes updates, network services and insurer development.

The Mediamaker operation will stay the same, with Dick Glaves remaining as managing director.

The head of the maintenance unit has yet to be decided.
