Financial analyst Datamonitor has revamped its website and will relaunch in September. The key difference will be an improved search facility. The site can be accessed on

The analyst is also set to publish four reports in September and October.

The first looks at commercial broking and charts the rise of large provincial brokers such as Smart & Cook.

It also sees brokers increasingly using advising clients on risk management as a way of differentiating themselves from direct sellers and rival brokers.

The second report looks at claims management and the two in October will look at commercial lines of cover and niche lines.

A new financial services portfolio is also due out in the autumn. This will look at banking, pensions, general insurance, cards and payments, e-commerce and wealth management.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
