Further to the announcement dated 23 April 2007, setting out details of Aviva's new group executive team and advising that Patrick Snowball would be leaving the Aviva group at the end of June 2007, Aviva has today confirmed that Snowball resigned as a director of both Aviva plc and its subsidiary, General Accident plc, with effect from 8 May 2007.
