Renewals noticeThe ABI and Federation of Small Business (FSB) have held a meeting to discuss the issue of notice periods for liability renewals. An ABI spokesman said the meeting, held yesterday, was to establish whether or not there was a problem. Prior to the meeting he said the ABI had still not been presented with any evidence that insurers are failing to meet the 21-day notice period recommended by the ABI and Biba.

R&SA rejects bidsRoyal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has rejected four bids for its majority-owned Scandinavian subsidiary Codan Forsikring AS, according to a report.The report in Berlingske Tidende said the prices offered for the business were deemed to be too low. Personal injury feesProposals to increase civil court fees could limit access to justice for thousands of accident victims, said the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (Apil).
