Towergate has announced the creation of a new professional indemnity underwriting agency based in the City under the leadership of Michael Bray.
The new unit is founded around the professional indemnity business and personnel from recent acquisitions Bray Wintour Patis and Sterling Hamilton Wright.
Bray said: “The sale of my business to Towergate was a precursor to this exciting business development opportunity, which will enable us to re-invigorate the procedures, systems and underwriting relationships necessary to support our provincial broker base.
“We currently control around £10m of gross written premium and have ambitious targets to push this to £30m within the next two years.”
