The Treasury has released its new regulations for mortgage advisers.
The regulation of mortgage advisers was announced at the same time as the upcoming regulation for insurance intermediaries earlier this year.
Treasury financial secretary Ruth Kelly said the timetable for the implementation of mortgage regulation would be released when the European Parliament adopted the Insurance Mediation Directive, which was expected later this year.
