T L Dallas becomes first broker to go live with integrated personal lines module for SSP sector

Software Solutions Partners (SSP) is delighted to announce that T L Dallas & Co, a member of the Unitas Alliance, has become the first broker to start live running of the new integrated personal lines module for SSP sector.

The SSP sector user community is dominated by commercial lines, schemes and London Market brokers but a significant number of its members provide a ‘full service’ to clients including provision of personal lines insurances. Responding to customer demand, SSP began work on integrating its market-leading personal lines quote engine with SSP sector during 2006 and launched the new module earlier this year.

The integration of the market leading personal lines quotation engine into SSP sector provides users with access to auto rated products for private motor, household, motorcycle and commercial vehicle from an extensive panel of insurers. The integration is simple and powerful, giving the ability to process personal lines business using exactly the same work flow as is used for all other business on SSP sector.

Mark Hudson, financial director at TL Dallas & Co said: “We are really delighted with the new module. It has simplified business processes and consolidated our operations on a single platform. As a result we have seen improvements in our operational efficiencies as well as simplifications in our management reporting and control. The transfer from separate systems to the integrated solution was remarkably smooth; something I made clear at our recent project review with SSP.”

“We are currently in the process of planning further implementations in a number of SSP sector sites but TL Dallas going live represents a real milestone”, commented Andrew Stanners, head of SSP sector. “This means that SSP sector is now unique in the broker systems marketplace in offering a solution which delivers business support at every level of the intermediary channel from London Market through to personal lines without compromise.”
