Ten Trinity Square, the historic home of Willis, will be turned into a hotel if the company finalises negotiations with an unnamed hotel operator.
A source close to Willis said the building was being sold in order to bring headquarters staff under one roof.
A spokesman for Willis said: “There have been significant expressions of interest in the historic building.”
