Zurich Financial Services said it expects $260m in claims payments related to the UK flooding in July 2007

Zurich Financial Services Group has said it expects aggregate claims payments of up to $260m before tax related to floods that occurred in the UK in July 2007.

This estimate is net of reinsurance, the Swiss insurance group said.

Charges will be recorded in the nine months results 2007, which are due to be released on Nov 15, 2007.
