Leicester-based broking services company Internet Insurance Services (2i's) has sold part of its operations to internet security specialist Acumin for an undisclosed sum.
John Batten, 2i's sales director, said the firm had previously lacked the capital to present the professional look and feel consumers wanted from a website.
Acumin's managing director Simon Hember said: “Our expertise in web design and information security married to 2i's insurance knowledge will make this a winning formula.”
