Ace Bermuda has appointed Anup Seth as managing director of Ace European Markets.
Seth will assume responsibility for the general day-to-day management of the Dublin-based operation.
Rees Fletcher, president and chief executive of Ace Bermuda, said: "His knowledge of the Ace organisation and experience in Bermuda will stand him in good stead as he takes leadership of Ace European Market's continued growth and profitability."
Seth started his career with Ace in 2001, joining Ace Bermuda in July 2004 as chief actuary from Ace European Group in London.
