The AIG board of directors has elected Frank Douglas as senior vice president and casualty actuary, and Charlene Hamrah as AIG vice president and director of investor relations.

Douglas joined the company in 1980. He previously served as vice president and actuary for American International Underwriters, AIG's international property-casualty insurance operation. He was elected AIG vice president and casualty actuary in 2000.

Hamrah joined AIG in 1986. She served in a succession of senior financial, analytical and management positions in AIG's comptroller's division and its specialty agency companies and was appointed director of investor relations in 1991.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
