Allianz Cornhill has officially launched a comprehensive training and development programme called “Excellence in Claims”.

It said the initiative had already been awarded continuing professional development accreditation by the CII.

The main objectives of the programme are:

· Assess current abilities and identify individual development needs,

· Provide the tools, time and environment for staff to develop their skills and knowledge,

· Support the development of ‘soft skills', such as communication, and

· Provide an induction programme for all staff joining Allianz Cornhill's claims division.

Claims director Jon Dye said: “We are determined that Excellence in Claims will become the industry model for the development of claims staff.

"Comprehensive training will be an integral part of what it means to be a claims handler at Allianz Cornhill.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
