Aon Corporation has extended the personal employment contract of Dennis Mahoney, the chairman and chief executive officer of its UK arm Aon Limited, to 2015.
Greg Case, Aon Corporation's chief executive officer, said: "I am very pleased that Dennis will be part of our leadership team for the long term. Aon will continue to benefit from his exceptional experience and visionary leadership over this period.
"Dennis is a leader of market reform in the UK and this agreement underlines our firm's strength of purpose in continuing to lead in this area and drive further improvements in our UK business.
"Dennis' contribution to the insurance industry was recently recognised at the British Insurance Awards where he received the Achievement Award, and I would like to congratulate him on this well deserved honour.”
