Aon Professional Risks (APR), Aon's new professional indemnity business, has appointed Elizabeth Mullins as an executive director.

Mullins, who previously held high profile roles as managing director of the Solicitors Indemnity Fund and Zurich Professional, has been appointed Practice Leader for UK Law Firms.

She will spearhead innovation and improving the delivery of services for the group's 2500 legal clients.

APR chairman Paul Milton said: "We are delighted that Elizabeth has joined the team. Her appointment as a well-known figure with extensive experience and understanding of solicitors' professional indemnity reflects our commitment to excellence at all levels of client servicing.

"It also comes at a time when market conditions for all professionals are very difficult and we recognise the need to bring all appropriate expertise to bear on behalf of our clients."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
