Philippe Vivares has been appointed underwriting manager for offshore energy at Arch Insurance.
Vivares' appointment will take effect from May 2006. He joins Arch from Axa Re, where he was the Paris-based class manager for marine and offshore energy. He will be based in London in his new role.
